Green Approaches For Chemical Analysis Free Ebo...

This volume focuses on the most recent trends for greening analytical activities beginning with an introduction to green analytical chemistry followed by a discussion of green analytical chemistry metrics and life-cycle assessment approach to analytical method development. The chapters discuss two main topics; first is the most recent techniques for greening sample pretreatment steps, and second is modern trends for tailoring analytical techniques and instrumentation to implement the green analytical chemistry concept. The role of different kinds of green solvents, such as ionic liquids, supercritical fluids, deep eutectic solvents, bio-based solvents, and surfactants, as well as nanomaterials and green sorption materials in greening sample extraction steps is also a focus of this book. Furthermore, different approaches for greening chromatography as a key analytical technique are discussed. The applications of nanomaterials in analytical procedures are deeply reviewed, and miniaturization of spectrometers is also discussed as a recently evolved approach for efficient green on-site analysis. This book will appeal to a wide readership of academic and industrial researchers in different fields. It can be used in the classroom for undergraduate and postgraduate students focusing on the development of new analytical procedures for organic and inorganic compounds determination in different kinds of samples characterized by complex matrices composition. The book will also be useful for researchers that are interested in both chemical analysis and environment protection.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Maghrabey has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University, Egypt since 2022 & an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences - Nagasaki University, Japan, since 2020. He his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Nagasaki University, Japan. Then, He was awarded many prestigious post-doctoral fellowships, including Takeda Science Foundation Fellowship in 2017 and JSPS Fellowship in 2018. He was a visiting researcher at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Nagasaki University, in the period of 2017-2020. His research focuses on developing new green detecting probes for bioactive substances, including pharmaceuticals and their potential impurities, metals, and pollutants. Besides, He developed many probes for mass spectrometric, fluorescence, and chemiluminescence analysis of clinically important compounds. He has published more than 30 research articles in esteemed Peer-Reviewed journals and eight book chapters published by highly esteemed publishers, including Springer. He established many collaborative research with professors and researchers from many countries around the world, including Japan, Hungary, Spain, Australia, France, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Iraq, and India.

Metabolic labeling of biomolecules distributes the label throughout the molecule based on the biomolecule composition. For example, culturing cells with 13C6-lysine results in the incorporation (labeling) of all lysine-containing proteins synthesized during the experiment. Because most metabolic labeling strategies use chemical analogs which are structurally identical or very similar to natural monomers, it is usually not possible to control the specific site of incorporation or the number of labels added. However, site-specific metabolic labeling is possible when metabolic probes are designed and used in combination with genetically altered organisms or cell-free in vitro translation systems.

FreeGreen's mission is to encourage progressive building practices by providing free green home plans for everyone. They give away online house plans, while working with green-product vendors on an advertising basis to specify their products into the plans.
